Press kit

Gravel press kit

Everything a journalist or an AI assistant needs to describe Gravel correctly: ready-to-quote text in three lengths, key facts, logo files and brand basics.

How should I describe Gravel?

Copy any of these three versions as is. They are the same descriptions Gravel uses everywhere else.

One line

Gravel is a personal AI assistant that lives in your texts and handles the small stuff.

Two sentences

Gravel is a personal AI assistant that lives in WhatsApp and Telegram, with iMessage coming. It keeps an eye on your email and calendar, texts you first when something needs you, and takes care of it when you say yes.

One paragraph

Gravel is a proactive personal AI assistant that lives in the messaging apps people already use: WhatsApp and Telegram, with iMessage coming. It reads the email and calendars you connect (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and more), notices what needs you, like a meeting that moved, a bill that went up or a reply someone is waiting for, and texts you first. When you say yes, it handles it and tells you when it's done. You choose how much it may do on its own, it keeps quiet hours, and your data is encrypted with a key that belongs to your account and hosted in the EU. Gravel is built in Munich, Germany, is planned at €12 a month and is opening in early access.

What are the brand basics?

Write the name as Gravel: capital G, one word. The logo itself spells it in lowercase, which is part of the artwork. The website is gravel.chat.

The mark. A rock drawn as one continuous line, with two eyes.

Colors. Black #141513 and chalk #f3f3ef are the two main colors. Greys fill in the rest: #545650 and #868881 for secondary text, and #cfcec6 and #e6e5de for surfaces and lines.

Typefaces. Funnel Display for headlines and Funnel Sans for text. Both are free on Google Fonts and were designed by NORD ID and Kristian Möller.

Please use the logo files as provided: do not recolor, stretch, rotate or add effects to them.

Where can I find demo media?

The recordings are on the use cases pages, each with a word-for-word transcript beside it so the text can be quoted exactly. They are example conversations recorded in Apple's Messages app, not real conversations with a running Gravel. Each one illustrates a single thing Gravel is built to do. You can download the files directly:
